Community Scarecrows

Each year the St. Andrews community sponsors a Scarecrow competition and encourages businesses and organizations to enter prior to Halloween. For 2013 and 2014 the members of the church assembled scarecrows as in these photos.

Valentine's Day Dinner

The 2014 Valentine's Day dinner theme was an evening in Paris. Guests dined by candlelight while listening to French Cafe music. Decorations included a replica of the Eiffel Tower with waiters (men of the church) dressed in berets. It was a fun evening for everyone.

Mardi Gras

The Mardi Gras parade draws thousands to the St. Andrews community each year. The parade route passes in front of the church where members and friends set up a complimentary refreshment area serving hundreds of hot dogs, beverages, chips and cookies as an outreach to the community for donations only. Parking is also provided and chairs line the front lawn  for those who wish to relax.

Church Yard and Bake Sale

Each year the church conducts a yard sale. It takes a lot of donations from members and the community and a lot of hard work from volunteers. For 2014 the sale was held on October 18th and featured delicious homemade baked goods from family recipes.
